Itty Bitty

Every year since Caleb was 3, he has participated in the Itty Bitty Golf Tournament. It's a free golf clinic that teaches kids about the game, sets them up with their own little clubs and lets them play golf on a kids sized course. This was Caleb's last year to participate, but to Judah's surprise it was his first! Caleb has always gotten out there and played the course and enjoyed the game. Judah, on the other hand, was very content to hit the ball once, chase it down, pick it up and move on to the next hole. He loved getting his own little set of clubs, but after about three holes, he called it a day and just watched. When I asked each of them what was their favorite part, Caleb says, "Playing golf". And Judah? Surprisingly, he said he liked the teaching and practice portion of the day. John and I enjoyed being the boys' caddies, although, John did most of the caddying. Caleb made me laugh when he asked his dad for the driver or the putter so he could make his shot. It's so fun getting to watch our kids' lives in motion! You never know what they're going to like or enjoy or say!
