Day 5 - Pumpkin Smoothies



I think at this point it is safe to say that we could eat pumpkin in a recipe everyday for a year. I'm just glad I only committed to a week. The boys are having fun trying pumpkin in new ways, so it's been a good experiment. Today's recipe is a delicious mid day treat. We enjoyed blending it all together and slurping it up (Judah)...every last drop (Kellen).
It was like pumpkin pie in a glass.....yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Blend together:
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup milk
6-8 ozs of plain yogurt
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp honey

This makes about 2 small servings, so double, triple, quadruple if you'd like. We were experimenting so we started small.



Add graham cracker crumbs and whipped cream and you have a tasty treat.
