Sneeddles and beetles

Happy birthday Dr. Seuss! Thanks for the fun and funny rhymes that give us all such a real good time. The boys love every book. They'll even read them while I cook. We've had a good time this week rhyming and such. but really wish we there wasn't so much. For you see, your 44 books are killing me! (Not really, but it rhymed! Well I take that back, there are only so many tongue twisters I can handle in a day!)

Well, in celebration of some of the craziest, zaniest and just down right fun books around, we've been reading many of Dr. Seuss's books this week. We even made green eggs and ham for breakfast. Just finely chop spinach and add to your usual scrambled eggs or look up one of the hundreds of recipes online. My boys gobbled it all up and I think we may have solved the "just try it once" dilemma we have on occasion. Thanks Sam I am.

Caleb eating green eggs and ham. He did like it despite the face in this picture. I took this as he beheld the green egg goodness.
